TESCA TRAVEL AND PARTICIPANT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ABIDE BY LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Travel Coordinator is in full compliance with all requirements for Support for the Cuban People travel to Cuba which are administered by the United States Department of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (O.F.A.C.). These requirements state all Travelers will adhere to a full-time schedule of activities that support civil society in Cuba and result in meaningful interactions between the Traveler and individuals in Cuba. By taking part in this Support for the Cuban People program to Cuba, Traveler agrees to participate in listed itinerary activities unless sick or otherwise unable. Additionally Travel understands the O.F.A.C. recommendation to retain records of travel to Cuba for five years after returning to the United States.

LIMITS OF LIABILITY
Travel in Cuba can be unpredictable. Travel Coordinator reserves the right to make reasonable changes in schedule when deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of the participants. Travel Coordinator acts only as an agent for Traveler in regard to transportation and/or all other related travel services as stated in the program description and itinerary. As such, Travel Coordinator assumes no liability for injury, delay, irregularity, loss or damage to person or property or additional costs resulting directly or indirectly from: acts of nature, detention, weather, failure of any means of transportation to comply with schedules, quarantines, strikes, civil disturbances, theft, government regulations related to customs, immigration, violations of law, or trade embargoes, discrepancies, and/or change in transit or living accommodations over which Travel Coordinator has no control. Additionally Travel Coordinator reserves the right to refuse to accept or retain Traveler as a program participant.

VISAS and PASSPORTS
Travel Coordinator will obtain the required visa for Traveler to enter and travel within to Cuba. Visa will be dispersed through flight provider or directly at Customs at the Havana airport. Traveler must possess a passport that is current and does not expire within six months of travel. Cuban American Travelers must possess a current Cuban visa, passport, and other required documents.

LODGING AND ROOM SELECTION
Lodging will be provided for Traveler at 'Casas Particulares,' former private residences that through recent economic liberalization in Cuba can now be reserved. Traveler understands that the lodging was constructed as a private home, not a hotel, and so there are variances between the rooms (some rooms have views, some have king beds, some have queens, bathrooms may vary in size, etc.). Rooms will be reserved for Traveler by order of registration. The earliest registrants will assigned the rooms with the most amenities.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Travelers are required to submit $500 as a deposit with registration. The remaining program balance, $1,649 is due by June 1st, 2023. Airline ticket is a separate expense and will be added to the balance due once confirmed that  Tesca Travel will book registrant's air travel. Air travel arrangements will be made within 24 hours of registration.  A $50 discount is possible by submitting the balance due by check instead of credit card. Failure to submit amount due by the required date will result in a LATE FEE charge of $100. An additional charge of $10 will be assessed for each day late. Late payment may also result in the Traveler's spot being eliminated or released.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposit payment is 100% REFUNDABLE until the Modern Dance Study In Cuba tour is confirmed with a minimum of FIVE participants. Once five participants are registered AND all have paid the required $500 deposit, then travel is confirmed, plane tickets will be purchased, lodging deposit will be submitted, and the $500 deposit will become NON-REFUNDABLE.

After June 1st, 25% of the balance due payment is similarly NON-REFUNDABLE. To expand cancelation coverage traveler may choose to purchase Travel Insurance coverage (see next section). Travelers Insurance provides refunds should the Traveler need to cancel prior to travel due to medical or other emergencies. Travel Insurance also covers emergency medical evacuation from Cuba to the United States and covers other scenarios that could cancel, delay or inhibit travel to Cuba such as weather, political change, etc. To cover pre-existing medical conditions, Travel Insurance must be purchased within 14 days of submission of trip deposit to Tesca Travel.
