About Airfare
For trips with 10 or more travelers Tesca Travel is able to make highly flexible group reservations for air travel. For smaller groups it is still preferable for Tesca Travel to reserve and purchase the plane tickets. Agency booking ensure best pricing and that all travelers are on the same connecting flights from Miami to Havana.
Plane tickets are purchased at the time of registration. The booking is done with no mark up or fee. Travelers retain the ability to change seats, upgrade class, earn frequent flyer miles, or even cancel the ticket.
The cost of airfare is added to the fixed all-inclusive price of $2,149 (or $2,049 for six travelers). For example, if round trip air travel WAS-HAV costs $451, then total trip cost would be $2,149 + $451 = $2,600
Air travel will be arranged so that travelers connect in Miami and travel on to Cuba on the same afternoon flight on Sunday, July 16th arriving in Havana at 5:05 p.m.
Due to the time change and long flights west coast travelers would arrive later on July 16th at 8:22 p.m. OR choose to arrive in Havana one day early, Saturday July 15th at 8:22 p.m. Program director Doug Little will already be in Havana to meet travelers. There would be no extra lodging charge for early arriving west coast participants.
Arriving a day early allows west coast travelers to adjust to the time change and recover from a long day of travel.
